Senior Assistant Director Disability Resource Center

The University has developed this leadership role to work in conjunction with the Director and Senior Leadership in developing strategic campus partnerships to move the University forward in its quest towards an inclusion model based on disability justice.  This position directly manages seven Access Consultants in addition to positively contributing to the overall campus culture and its framing of disability.  The work of the DRC is informed by disability studies scholarship and guided by the values of disability as a form of diversity, social justice, civil rights and the the work of AHEAD and the Refocus web resource. Candidates must be fluent and committed to the principles outlined.   The department strives to become a National leader in the field of Higher Education Disability work.  Currently, the department serves 2400 students with 17 staff positions. The department has established year-around disability education programming and would welcome your contributions.  We take professional development seriously as evidenced by our funding priorities.
